we got our replacement eames chair in place just after the new year.
long story short: we ordered one from allmodern.com (who are amazing!) that arrived damaged with one leg broken. we had to wait a bit for a replacement sent directly from hermanmiller. the silver lining? when i asked how i ship back the damaged chair, customer service said "oh you can just throw it out"....what? so chris repaired the chair and now we have two!  don't tell.
