now that we have a little one i cant help but think it would be nice to lay around and play in the yard with her....with all of the stone it makes for a not so comfy place for kiddies. our yard is always evolving and it's fairly 'easy' to replace some bluestones with some sod. we're keeping an organic shape just toward the middle of the yard, just pulling up the stone in that area, storing it, and amending the soil for laying sod. finding sod around here is actually the hardest part. we're stuck with home depot sod since we only need a small amount...it's just hard to get it before it's all gone!
