this weekend we took our bikes over to governor's island...a quick (sort of) ride on the free ferry from brooklyn bridge park. there's so much to see and it's so fun to see everyone peddling around or laying about on the grass with the most amazing views of downtown manhattan.

 spent some nice time in Brooklyn Bridge Park again this weekend and thought i'd share more photos. we rode our bikes through here a few weeks ago, but i ventured deeper in and laid around getting some sun on the grassy hump overlooking the water. gorgeous!

over the gorgeous long weekend i took a random bike ride towards the newly completed section of brooklyn bridge park. holy cow! it's absolutely amazing! i really love some of the creative and unconventional choices they've made with shapes, stone, plants. even leaving some of the old pilings in the water as an art piece (i think they're old). anywho, get over there if you can...truly inspiring!
