R E C Y C L I N G

tidying up around the yard and behind the shed chris rediscovered some big wood beams that we've been holding on to. before they rot away he figured he should make something come from one of them....how 'bout a bench. here's phase 1 of this project.

W I N D O W B O X   R E F R E S H

i have perfectly good windowboxes in the front of the house....good except for all the cute martha stewart green paint is flaking off. i know i want to buy really good, and probably expensive ones sometime but with all the yard stuff going on (big news on that to come) i thought maybe i could freshen up these old ones with a new coat of black paint. of course, scraping off the old paint was an necessary first step....done on my birthday and sick as a dog no less. they'll look great when they're done and filled with fabulous-ness!

S M A L L   W O R L D S   C R E A T I O N

you've seen the awesome terrarium i bought from sprout in this post.
we thought we'd try our hand at making some of our own with some of the antique bottles we bought last year. they came out pretty good....let's just hope they stay gorgeous! we're definitely keeping our eye on them.
